  • Atta : Atta is milled from the semi-hard wheat varieties, also known as durum wheat that comprises 90% of the Indian wheat crop, and is more precisely called durum atta. Flour used to make chappati,  roti Puri & nan.
  • Maida : Maida  is a finely milled and refined flour of wheat, closely resembling cake flour, and used extensively in making Indian fast food and Indian bakery products such as pastries and bread and sometimes in making traditional Indian breads such as paratha and naan
  • Chakki is an age old method of making Atta from whole grain wheat. Chakki is made of stone and it operates by turning the handle. Wheat is added to the moving stone wheels which then grinds and make flour. You may have seen the word Chakki on some packets/bags of flour, Chakki Atta is manually grinded flour.
